The classes
What each one actually is
Fundamentals
Tuesday & Thursday, 6:00 – 6:30 PM
Who it's for
Complete beginners, and anyone coming back after time off.
What happens
Thirty focused minutes on the positions and escapes everything else is built from. It runs immediately before the main class, so you can do both or just this.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Monday & Wednesday 6:00 – 7:30 PM, Tuesday & Thursday 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Who it's for
Every level, all in the same room.
What happens
Warm-up, technical instruction on a theme, then optional live rolling. New students roll only with instructors or experienced members.
Striking Fundamentals
Saturday, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Who it's for
Anyone, including people who have never thrown a punch.
What happens
Boxing and kickboxing basics with an emphasis on defence — closing the gap, and what to do when strikes are part of the picture.
Open Mat
Saturday, 12:00 – 2:00 PM
Who it's for
Members only.
What happens
Unstructured training. Roll, drill, work on the thing that has been bothering you all week, or ask someone to show you what they did to you on Wednesday.
